Your tasks
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose tailored AV solutions.
- Prepare detailed system designs, proposals, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Develop solution diagrams, single-line drawings, and technical documentation.
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution presentations.
- Liaise with vendors and distributors for product selection and compatibility.
- Provide technical handovers and design support to the project delivery team.
- Stay updated on emerging AV technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure solutions are both practical and aligned with industry best practices and trends.
- Arrange product updates and technical training sessions for the sales and engineering teams.
- Manage and complete onboarding
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Audio Visual (AV) Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, including audio, video, control systems, video conferencing, and AV-over-IP solutions.
- Proficiency in using AV design tools and CAD software, such as AutoCAD, is an advantage.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into practical, cost-effective AV solutions.
- Good understanding of AV product specifications, system integration, and equipment compatibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, project delivery teams, vendors, and distributors.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to keep up with emerging AV technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Ability to conduct product updates and technical training for sales and engineering teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks and complete assigned responsibilities independently.
