Quality Assurance Assistant Manager (Pre and Post Natal Replacement)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to join an important production company in the Valparaíso Region, in a replacement modality for pre and post natal leave.

The person will be responsible for leading the strategy and management of the quality and food safety systems of four production plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory, normative, and customer requirements, promoting continuous improvement, and providing technical leadership to the Quality Assurance team.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the management of the Quality Assurance and Food Safety System across multiple production plants.
• Direct the team of Quality Assurance Coordinators, promoting their development and technical alignment.
• Plan and lead internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring the maintenance of certifications.
• Lead certification and continuous improvement projects.
• Supervise validation processes, change management, and risk analysis.
• Act as the technical counterpart for customers, certification bodies, and regulatory entities.
• Monitor performance indicators and promote a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Head of Quality/Quality Assurance or in similar positions.
• Training as a Lead Auditor in Integrated Systems.
• Advanced English.
• Solid knowledge in GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and/or FSSC 22000.
• Experience leading teams and audit processes.
• Availability to travel within the Valparaíso Region.
