ICT / Computing Teacher – Senior High School - Talent Pool

About the company

This is a Talent Pool for Global Prestasi School (Bekasi) to find an ICT / Digital Technology Teacher for the Senior High School level to help students develop digital literacy, computational thinking, programming skills, practical technology skills, and an understanding of how technology is used in modern life. The teacher will guide students in areas such as programming, web development, database and data processing, digital media creation, and responsible technology usage, while supporting students to become adaptive and digitally literate learners. English will be used as the primary language of instruction in the classroom.

Your tasks

• Teach ICT, digital technology, computer science, and programming concepts to Senior High School students
• Teach and guide students in text-based programming using programming language
• Design engaging lessons that develop students’ problem-solving and logical thinking skills
• Guide students in using digital tools for data processing, analysis, programming, and digital content creation
• Facilitate practical technology projects, such as websites, applications, database systems, digital media, or other technology-based products
• Support students in understanding safe, ethical, and responsible technology use
• Prepare learning materials, classroom activities, practical projects, and student assessments
• Collaborate with the academic team to support the school’s learning objectives

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in ICT Education, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field
• Experience teaching ICT at Senior High School/SMA level is strongly preferred
• Familiarity or experience with the Cambridge Curriculum, particularly Cambridge ICT, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of text-based programming, with the ability to teach at least one programming language
• Experience guiding students through practical technology or programming projects is strongly preferred
• Able to teach and communicate effectively in an English-speaking learning environment
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching and helping students understand and apply technology concepts
• Any additional experience in AI tools, game development, mobile application development, UI/UX design, or other emerging technologies would be a plus
