The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, contributing to both Commercial and industrial projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn essential skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in electrical work.
*Duties*
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Help with the installation of low voltage systems, including wiring for security systems, telecommunications, and data networks.
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues under the supervision of experienced electricians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
*Skills*
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrician practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members on job sites.
