Must-have:AI

About the company

We run a growing fleet of AI-powered unattended stores in Singapore. Our clients include major public-listed international organisations.

We are a small team. We use AI tools for as much of our work as we can, so that our people can focus on running operations well.

Your tasks

About the role You will be our first operations hire and will work directly with the founder. You will run the day-to-day operation of our stores, and you will be the main contact for our delivery team and our clients.

  • Review sales data every month and recommend which products to remove, add or give more space to, so that each store makes more profit.
  • Plan and run new store launches: product layout, delivery, setup, and support for the client on launch day.
  • Plan and run the weekly restocking routes with our drivers, and make sure every store is well stocked.
  • Order stock from suppliers, receive deliveries, and keep warehouse stock counts correct.
  • Look after our clients and site partners: regular check-ins, quick replies, refunds and fixes.
  • Take on new operational problems as the company grows. This role does not have a fixed job scope. If something affects our stores or our clients, we expect you to take ownership of it.

Requirements

Must have

  • You use AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in your work today. We provide Claude Pro and other tools.
  • You are comfortable with spreadsheets and sales data, and you understand what makes a product profitable.
  • You are reliable. You do what you say you will do, every week, and you tell us early when something goes wrong.
  • Good written English, and clear communication with drivers, suppliers and clients.
  • A Class 3 or 3A driving licence. You will drive the company car; your own car is a plus.
  • Able to lift cartons and travel across Singapore during the day (as needed).
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Good to have

  • Experience in retail, F&B, supermarket, convenience store, warehouse or operations work. Store managers and assistant store managers are encouraged to apply. If you have not handled ordering, receiving or stock counts before, we will teach you.

What we offer

Up to $3,200 a month (basic salary + monthly performance bonus)

What you get

  • Up to $3,200: $2,800 basic salary (depending on experience), plus a monthly performance bonus of up to $400 based on clear targets agreed with you.
  • Flexible working: core hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some days you will be at the warehouse, some days at a client site, and some days you can work from home. What matters is that the job gets done.
  • 14 days of annual leave, rising to 20 days with service.
  • Company car for work, and mileage claims when you use your own car.
  • Company phone line and paid AI tools.
  • Room to grow. As the company grows, this role can lead to managing the profit of a group of stores, launching operations in other countries, or moving into sales and account management, with pay reviews along the way.

How to apply

Apply and answer the screening questions. We reply to every applicant within 5 working days. Shortlisted candidates will get a short phone call, then a paid half-day work trial.

Other

Run the day-to-day operations of a growing AI-powered retail business and work directly with the founder. Flexible location: some days at the warehouse, some at client sites, some from home.

Is this role right for you? This role is not a good fit if you prefer a fixed job scope and fixed tasks. Some weeks will include work outside office hours, such as a store launch or an urgent restock; when that happens, you get time off in lieu.
