Analytical Development Chemist Trainee (Attach and Train Programme)

The Attach and Train Programme (AnT) is a structured talent development programme designed to build a pipeline of skilled professionals for Singapore’s advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, supporting both current and future workforce needs. As a trainee, you will go through a 15-month structured on-the-job training programme with GSK, gaining hands-on experience, industry-relevant skills, and mentorship from experienced professionals in a world-leading biopharmaceutical environment. For more information, please visit: https://www.swda.gov.sg/home/individuals/attachment-placement-programmes/career-conversion-programmes-for-individuals Please apply for the role here: https://jobs.gsk.com/gb/en/job/443850/Career-Conversion-Programme-AnT-Analytical-Development-Chemist Role Description: Ensure all data supporting the analytical method are accurate and able to take correct actions to address the issue Contribute to the plans for the implementation of new testing technologies and methods Able to understand and assess the change analytical assessment that may have an impact on product quality, validation and/or current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance Lead or participate in investigation arising from laboratory investigation, incidents recommendations remedial actions for follow-up Draft, review and update appropriate laboratory documents such as testing protocol, procedures, analytical methods and guidelines relating to GMP and operational framework of the laboratory Updated with pharmacopeial and other health agencies guidelines Ensures that all manufacturing raw materials / non-routine samples and products are analyzed and tested according to the stipulated quality requirements

Education / Qualifications: Degree in Chemistry or relevant science
