ICP Product Specialist

Introduction

As an ICP Product Specialist, you will provide technical and commercial support to customers across Glass Expansion’s range of ICP-OES and ICP-MS sample introduction products. You will play a key role in building customer relationships, providing expert product advice and assisting customers with product selection, optimisation, installation and troubleshooting.

Tasks

Remotely diagnose and troubleshoot issues with customers to minimise instrument downtime. Produce technical documentation related to marketing, sales, applications, training, repair, maintenance and installation. Manage customer relationships and act as a primary point of contact for technical and commercial enquiries. Proactively support customers with product selection and identify opportunities to develop existing customer accounts. Provide installations and training to customers as required. Attend necessary training to maintain up-to-date technical and product knowledge. Undertake occasional travel to visit customers, provide technical support, strengthen customer relationships and represent Glass Expansion at industry exhibitions and seminars.

Profile

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field. A minimum of three years’ experience operating an ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS spectrometer. Strong familiarity with ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS sample introduction systems and components. Strong communication and customer service skills.
