Construction - Glanua Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme 2027 - 2029
The Role
As a Graduate, you will work with experienced teams across Glanua, supporting live projects, operational activities and business functions. You will gain both office- and site-based experience, build an understanding of the municipal and industrial sectors, and take on greater responsibility as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Participate fully in each rotation and support the delivery of departmental, project and operational objectives. Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business, contributing to live projects and day-to-day activities. Assist with research, analysis, reporting, record-keeping and process improvement within each assigned function. Follow all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, sustainability, financial and organisational policies and procedures. Take ownership of your learning, maintain accurate development records and apply feedback to build your professional capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, or expected completion before the programme begins. A genuine interest in the water and wastewater industry and in contributing to sustainable infrastructure and business operations. Strong communication, teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach, willingness to learn and flexibility to work across office, site and rotation locations. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Both are essential due to project locations and programme travel requirements. Previous experience gained through an internship, work placement, summer role, volunteering or university project is beneficial but not essential.
What We Offer
A structured two-year programme comprising one in-depth 12-month rotation and two additional six-month rotations. The potential opportunity to complete one six-month rotation in Portugal or the UK. Hands-on experience across significant water and wastewater projects, operational teams and business functions. Mentoring, structured learning and professional development support throughout the programme. A competitive graduate salary with annual reviews, a company laptop and phone, 22 days' annual leave plus applicable public holidays, and access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme. On successful completion of the programme, graduates may be considered for permanent roles within Glanua, subject to individual performance, suitable vacancies and business requirements.
