Assembly, Despatch & Incoming Goods Operator

Introduction MARL International Limited was found in 1973 in Ulverston that produces large-scale custom lighting systems, as well as rugged LED components. We work closely with the defence and rail industries, as well as producing speciality lighting for creative applications. Marl became part of the Glamox group in August 2024. What you'll do This is an excellent job opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic experienced Assembly, Despatch & Incoming Goods Operator to join a well-established multidisciplinary Department. The successful candidate should be able to learn at a fast pace as well as apply previous knowledge to the role. Assembly & Testing: Build and test orders efficiently using correct instructions and quality standards. Despatch & Goods: Handle incoming goods, receipting, packaging, and arranging carriers for despatch. Testing: Perform high voltage testing and bagging safely Stock & Kitting: Kit distribution orders, control packaging stock, and assist with annual stock-take Additional duties as required by the Company to ensure the smooth running of the business needs Who you are Have electrical or electronics background advantageous.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings advantageous.

5 GCSE's at grade C or above including English & Math's.

Comfortable communicating with colleagues to demonstrate, maintain and actively promote the company, policies and strategy.
