Tasks and responsibilities

Do you want to contribute to the construction of aircraft and helicopters used worldwide? As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will work on the assembly of high-quality aircraft parts for programs such as the Airbus A350, Gulfstream, and NH90. You will join GKN Fokker in Papendrecht, where you will work in a modern high-tech production environment in which precision, quality, and teamwork are central.

Organization

At GKN Fokker in Papendrecht, you will work on the core structures of some of the most advanced aircraft and helicopters in the world. Function

• Preparing and checking parts for structural assembly
• Assembling complex metal aircraft structures according to aviation standards
• Cleaning and inspecting tools and materials before and after use
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
• Registering and documenting parts and process information
• Performing visual inspections and measurements to ensure the highest quality
• Working according to safety, quality, and production regulations
• Actively contributing to improvement initiatives within the team
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized workplace

Job requirements

• Mbo work and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction
• Experience with assembly, sheet metal work, metalworking, or a similar technical function
• Experience within aviation is a strong plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Good command of the English language
