To strengthen our Manufacturing Engineering Jets & NH90 team at the Hoogeveen production site, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer - Product & Planning.

The activities focus on implementing changes, controlling (quality) requirements, and supervising the production process within the Jets & NH90 production at the Marconistraat (assembly of, among others, elevators and rudders for Gulfstream and Dassault).

The Manufacturing Engineering department is responsible for the technical preparation and supervision of the production processes.

Activities

Concerns various activities within the Unit Jets & NH90:

• Determining working methods, machining sequences, processing times, quality assurance through action items, and preparing First Article Inspections (FAI's);
• Indicating which materials and tools are required and recording them in machining instructions;
• Supervising production and proposing solutions for problems in the initial phase;
• Analyzing frequently occurring problems in production, ensuring solutions, or making proposals for changes to the products, or respectively the production process;
• Coordination with the various production departments (value streams) from a professional discipline standpoint with the goal of continuous improvement and realization of set technical goals.

Job Requirements

• A completed HBO degree or equivalent work/thinking level
• Knowledge of assembly processes and CATIA DMU 3D design software is a plus
• Knowledge of administrative organization and quality procedures
• Verbally and written communicative skills
• Good command of the English language (oral, written)

Location/Workplace

The job holder works at the Hoogeveen location on the Marconistraat.
