Development Engineer in Material & Product Development
We are now seeking a Development Engineer for an international industrial company in the Öresund region. You will become part of a development team working with next-generation packaging materials and innovative solutions for the food industry.
About the role
In this role, you will contribute to the development of new material and product solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications, planning and conducting tests, and analyzing results. You will work closely with specialists, laboratories, suppliers, and production units to ensure that solutions meet both functional and qualitative requirements.
You will, among other things:
- Participate in development projects from idea to verified solution
- Contribute to the design and development of material-related solutions
- Plan and conduct testing and verification activities
- Analyze test results and document conclusions
- Drive analyses and risk assessments
- Work with requirement management and technical specifications
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the development process
We believe you have
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering within a relevant field
- An analytical approach and a genuine interest in problem-solving
- A strong ability to structure, analyze, and communicate technical results
- Very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Strong collaborative skills and enjoy working cross-functionally
It is extra meritorious if you have
- Experience in product development within packaging, materials, or related areas
- Knowledge in testing, verification, or laboratory work
- Understanding of statistics and data analysis
- Experience with requirement management and development processes
- Worked in agile or Scrum-based development environments
