Automation Technician (M/F)

GIF EMPLOI, a specialist agency for technical professions, is looking for an Automation Technician (M/F/D) for one of its clients.

Reporting to a dynamic team, you will develop tailor-made solutions in accordance with specifications and ensure the commissioning and adjustment of installations at client sites.

Your Missions

• Analysis & Design: Perform functional and organic analysis, then design automation applications (PLC and HMI) to control equipment.
• Proposal & Optimization: Provide technical solutions adapted to product constraints.
• Test & Validation: Test applications, identify anomalies, and deploy corrective actions.
• Monitoring & Documentation: Write technical documentation, the operator manual, and participate in progress meetings with the client.
• Field & Assistance: Participate in on-site commissioning, train users, and provide technical support.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to technical and regulatory monitoring to propose process optimizations.

. Profile Sought

• Education & Experience: Bac +2/3 degree in Automation / Industrial Computing (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of programming and commissioning of controllers (Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider or others) and solid foundations in electrotechnics (reading/validation of diagrams, troubleshooting).
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, great agility, and adaptability.
• Language: Fluent technical English to communicate with clients.

• Salary: 35 k€ / 45 k€ depending on experience
