Purchasing Coordinator

An important company in the logistics sector is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to strengthen its team in Cota. We are looking for a cultural and integral profile, with experience in international purchasing and technical capacity to ensure the optimal supply of spare parts for the heavy automotive line.

Objective of the position Manage the international supply chain of spare parts for Shacman trucks and tractor-trailers, negotiating directly with manufacturers and distributors in China, guaranteeing availability, quality, and compliance with import processes.

Main requirements · Academic background: Professional in International Business, Foreign Trade, Mechanical Engineering, or related careers. · Languages: Advanced English (B2/C1) indispensable; knowledge of commercial terms in Mandarin Chinese is a plus. · Experience: 3 to 4 years in international purchasing of heavy automotive line spare parts, with demonstrable experience in negotiations with China.

Key functions · Development of suppliers in China (OEM and alternatives). · Technical interpretation of Cummins engine exploded views and Shacman catalogs. · Multicultural negotiation: quotations, payment terms, and Incoterms. · International logistics coordination and container nationalization. · Management of warranties and technical claims with factories in China.

Essential knowledge · Cummins engines: Architecture, families (ISF, ISB, ISL, ISM, QSX) and critical components. International logistics: Customs regulations, cargo consolidation (FCL/LCL), and import costing.

Labor conditions · Contract: Direct and indefinite. · Modality: On-site in Cota. · Schedule: Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month. · Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience.
