For an established local company in the metalworking sector, we are looking for a JUNIOR QUALITY ENGINEER. The resource will be responsible for ensuring the technical, electrical, and mechanical compliance of RMU distribution systems and medium voltage switchgear, performing testing, in-line inspections, and off-line tests (PFL) in compliance with current regulations and corporate safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire quality control flow (incoming material control, in-process controls, and final testing) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards, to promptly intercept and resolve any anomalies;
• Lead the resolution of quality issues by analyzing root causes and implementing effective corrective actions, also through structured methodologies;
• Supervise testing and off-line tests;
• Support production in case of critical issues, intervening quickly to avoid machine downtime and ensuring compliance with operating procedures;
• Precisely manage KPIs and quality data to map the current state and anticipate potential non-conformities with a view to continuous improvement;
• Manage the measurement and control instrument fleet and monitor regulatory compliance.

Required Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Interest in the function and duties;
• Previous experience in the role, even if brief, constitutes a preferential requirement;
• Good command of the English language; Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and management software;
• Basic knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies, ISO 9001, and technical drawing;

Offer:

• 6-month temporary contract, aimed at stabilization within the company with growth possibilities, CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria
• RAL: 25 - 30K
• PDR: approximately 3000 euro net/year
• Welfare: 500 euro/year

• Work location: Ascoli Piceno
• Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8.15/8.45 start and exit from 17:00 onwards with a 45min lunch break
