Your tasks

​We are seeking an entrepreneurial, high-caliber Head of Commercial / Business Unit Lead to build this vertical and commercial team from 0 to 1. This greenfield mandate offers full strategic autonomy to define the commercial go-to-market (GTM) roadmap, build a high-performing team, drive high-spec electrical power connector design-ins, and leverage cross-divisional synergies with their market-leading liquid cooling portfolio.

​Key Responsibilities ​1. 0-to-1 Commercial Leadership & Market Entry

• ​Architect, execute, and own the global commercial GTM strategy for the Electrical Connectors Division in the Data Centre and AI infrastructure market.
• ​Establish product-market fit by either leveraging existing fluid connector / liquid cooling synergies or developing independent high-power electrical busbar connector directions.
• ​Deliver revenue targets, build commercial pipelines, and secure long-term design-ins across high-density AI rack projects (including OCP Open Rack v3 frameworks).

​2. Team Building & Regional Expansion

• ​Recruit, build, structure, and mentor a high-performing international commercial team
• ​Direct sales operations and channel management across major regional tech hubs (Greater China, APAC, US).

​3. Hyperscaler & Ecosystem Engagement

• ​Drive executive-level engagement with engineering architects, power infrastructure leads, and procurement heads at Hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google), Colocation Operators (Equinix, Digital Realty), and Server OEMs/ODMs (Foxconn, Quanta, Wiwynn).
• ​Position companys low-contact-resistance, thermal-efficient electrical connector technologies against international benchmarks (IEC, UL 1977, OCP).

​4. Cross-Divisional Synergy & Global HQ Alignment

• ​Partner closely with company's Fluid Connectors BU to deliver integrated power and liquid-cooling interconnect solutions (UQD couplings + high-current power plugs).
• ​Serve as the strategic liaison between regional market requirements and Swiss R&D / engineering management.

Requirements

​Technical & Domain Expertise

• ​Technical Depth in Electrical Connectors: Solid engineering/technical foundation in electrical connectors, high-current power delivery systems, busbar clips, contact resistance, and thermal rise constraints.
• ​End-to-End Data Centre Project Track Record: Proven track record leading and executing high-spec data centre physical infrastructure or power transmission projects from inception to completion.
• ​Standards Compliance: Deep familiarity with international power transmission standards (IEC 61984 / 60320, UL 1977, OCP ORv3).

​Commercial & Leadership Track Record****

• ​0-to-1 Builder Mindset: Proven capability in establishing a new business unit, vertical, or regional territory from the ground up rather than managing mature accounts.
• ​Target Industry Background: High-value candidates sourced from top-tier electrical connector leaders or adjacent data centre power/rack system providers

​International Mobility & Fluency: Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory to interface directly with Swiss executive leadership.
