FIELD APPLICATION MANAGER (RF Test & Measurement)

Your tasks

We are looking for an RF Solutions Consultant to act as a trusted technical advisor to key accounts across aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and high-tech industries. In this role, you will bridge technical problem-solving with client relationship management—serving as the primary consultant for complex RF measurement setups, solution architecture, and strategic account growth.

• Technical Advisory & Client Consulting: Act as the primary technical subject matter expert for key accounts, diagnosing complex testing needs and recommending optimal RF measurement setups.
• Solution Architecture & Evaluations: Conduct technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and measurement troubleshooting for spectrum analysis, signal generation, VNAs, and wireless standards.
• Strategic Account Ownership: Drive long-term client growth and retention by building strong, peer-to-peer relationships with principal engineers, lab managers, and engineering leaders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with regional application teams, field service engineers, and product specialists to ensure seamless customer support and project execution.

Who You Are & What You Bring

• Deep RF Test & Measurement Knowledge: Hands-on experience with RF/microwave test instrumentation (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters) and measurement parameters (EVM, Phase Noise, S-Parameters, Spurious Emissions).
• Customer-Facing Engineering Background: Background in roles such as Field Application Engineer (FAE), Field Service Engineer, Application Specialist, Test/NPI Engineer, or Technical Sales Engineer focused on RF technology.
• Consultative Problem-Solving: Ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear, high-value testing solutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3+ years of technical hands-on or client-facing experience in the RF/microwave domain.
