What will you do?

As an Expert Data Engineer, you will help design and build modern data platforms and products across cloud and on-premise environments. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to create scalable data solutions, optimize data processing pipelines, and support data-driven decision making within agile delivery teams. Daily tasks

  • Design, build, test and deploy cloud and on-premise data models and transformations
  • Develop and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines
  • Onboard new data sources and build data ingestion frameworks
  • Design, build, test and deploy cloud data warehouses and data products
  • Optimize data views and schemas for reporting and visualization use cases
  • Review, interpret and implement business and technical requirements
  • Collaborate on backlog refinement, user stories and epics in Jira
  • Ensure data platform performance, scalability and reliability

Requirements

7+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer Strong SQL, Python Experience with data modelling Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes and data lakehouse architectures Hands-on experience with GCP data engineering tools

Very good knowledge of BigQuery

Experience with DBT, Airflow and Trino Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines

Nice to have Experience with Spark/PySpark Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Apache Superset Experience with Snowflake Experience with Databricks
