Test Engineer (m/f/d) Disposables (Engineer - Mechanical Engineering)

Your tasks:

• Planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities for medical disposable products and devices – both internally and with external laboratories
• Support in experimental planning as well as the development of test setups and test procedures for verification, system, integration, and exploratory tests
• Creation of test plans, test protocols, and test reports taking into account specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Analysis and evaluation of test results, execution of failure analyses, as well as support in release decisions prior to series release
• Participation in the development and optimization of test methods, test strategies, testing devices, and test environments, possibly also automated
• Support of laboratory operations as well as collaboration on CAPAs, NCs, ECRs, audits, projects, and continuous improvement processes

Your profile:

• Completed degree in engineering sciences or training as a technician (m/f/d), ideally in mechanical engineering, medical technology, or a comparable field
• Initial experience in a testing environment, preferably with medical devices or disposable products
• Knowledge in the planning, execution, and documentation of technical tests and series of experiments
• Basic knowledge of statistical methods; ideally experience with Minitab
• Understanding of quality management and regulatory requirements in the medical device environment, especially ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working as well as teamwork, strong communication skills, and good English skills
