Office / Purchasing Administrator
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Office / Purchasing Administrator who has excellent attention to detail. This is a full-time role, based in Peterborough with immediate start available. This role is instrumental in ensuring their business runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collating, checking and processing internal timesheets for site-based teams.
- Ensuring timesheets are received accurately and within required deadlines.
- Liaising with site teams to obtain missing timesheets.
- Collating timesheets in readiness for payroll.
- Collating and checking employee / site expenses.
- Processing internal expense authorisations and arranging approved payments.
- Maintaining accurate records of expenses and supporting documentation.
- Purchasing materials, PPE, equipment and other items required by site teams and the wider business.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing and availability, quotations etc.
- Raising and processing purchase orders on SAGE.
- Checking purchasing documentation against orders and invoices.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing and administrative records.
- Supporting the office team with general administration as required.
- Ensuring information is processed accurately, confidentially and within required timescales.
- Maintaining supporting documentation relating to company vehicles and associated expenditure.
- Assisting with general fleet administration as required.
- Collating and maintaining records of company vehicle mileage.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is confident working with figures, timesheets, expenses and purchasing records.
- Is comfortable chasing outstanding information and following tasks through to completion.
- Can prioritise their workload and work to deadlines.
- Confident communicating with site-based employees, managers and suppliers.
- Good IT skills, including SAGE, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Is able to work independently while also being part of a wider team.
- Has a practical, organised and proactive approach to work.
