Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) - Focus: Material Planning and Project Management

As part of the Business Unit Syringes Systems, Gerresheimer Bünde GmbH is one of the most modern production sites in the world for pre-filled syringe systems and carpules. With around 800 employees, our plant in Bünde in the district of Herford is considered the Group's competence center for syringes used for the long-term storage of medicinal products, such as vaccines.

In the role of Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d), you are responsible for the optimal control and execution of all procurement processes for secondary requirements, as well as demand determination, budgeting, scheduling, and change-driven execution of projects to ensure the required production capacities at suppliers. These are the activities that await you with us:

• Control and execution of all procurement processes for production materials and merchandise using SAP
• Independent assurance of timely and quantity-accurate delivery, as well as evaluation and improvement of delivery reliability and inventory levels through close communication with internal, external, and sometimes international interfaces
• Creation of the dispositional supplier forecast
• Capacity alignment with suppliers
• Continuous checking, compliance, and optimization of disposition parameters
• Inventory and bottleneck management
• Control of tool capacities at suppliers regarding sufficient output quantity, timing of new procurement, as well as maintenance and repair
• Initiation of measures to maintain and ensure the required tool capacities at our suppliers for purchased parts based on forecast figures
• Holistic project management regarding demand determination, investment planning and application, documentation within the framework of changes, coordination, and close communication with external suppliers, as well as across departments and plants.

The position requires a predominant willingness to work on-site.

What you bring to the role:

• Completed commercial training
• Ideally experience in disposition and project management
• Good SAP knowledge in the MM module, proficient use of MS-Office
• Structured and independent way of working as well as planning and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills paired with entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Good English skills
