Senior Financial Accountant

Tasks: maintaining the accounting of the Company belonging to an international capital group in accordance with applicable regulations and group policy; controlling financial documents in terms of formality and accounting; booking and recording cost documents, revenue documents, and other economic operations; maintaining the fixed assets register; maintaining the register and settlement of real estate tax and perpetual usufruct fees; regular reconciliation of accounting accounts and controlling the correctness of entries; participation in periodic closing of accounting books (monthly, quarterly, annual); active participation in preparing data for transfer pricing documentation for tax advisors; recording differences resulting from the difference in regulations between UoR and MSSF and maintaining group reporting (quarterly); registering finished goods and semi-finished products; monthly cost settlement – preparing actual production cost settlements; active participation in creating process documentation (including accounting procedures in force at the plant); participation in financial migration processes and other global projects; cooperation with auditors and tax advisors, coordinating the flow of information and providing support to other departments of the organization regarding accounting issues; providing substantive support to team members, cooperating with the Chief Accountant; ensuring the correct flow of accounting documents as well as their storage and archiving;

We expect from candidates: higher education, preferred fields: accounting and finance; minimum three years of experience in an independent/senior accountant position; experience in similar positions in an international manufacturing company; very good, practical knowledge of accounting issues; very good knowledge of tax regulations (CIT, VAT, tax ordinance); knowledge of: MDR tax schemes, transfer pricing regulations, withholding tax is welcome; practical ability to use financial-accounting software (knowledge of SAP system will be a great asset); English language skills at a communicative level; good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel; ability to perform assigned tasks independently; analytical approach with attention to detail; very good self-organization of work, ability to set priorities and manage time effectively, ability to work under time pressure; taking initiative, problem-solving orientation, coming up with proposed solutions; orientation towards learning and development, sharing knowledge and experience with team members;
