Pharmacy technician

About the company

Castletown Pharmacy is seeking a reliable, motivated and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of our community pharmacy, supporting the pharmacist in the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions while ensuring excellent patient care and customer service. We are looking for someone with organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Your tasks

Assist with prescription dispensing under the pharmacist’s supervision.

Manage stock, deliveries and expiry dates.

Maintain accurate records and follow pharmacy procedures.

Provide excellent customer service.

Support the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary.

Requirements

Recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Previous community pharmacy experience is desirable.

What we offer

Annual Salary: €37,440 per year, with the potential for an increase.

Annual Leave: 20 days paid annual leave per year, plus public holiday entitlements, in accordance with Irish employment legislation.

Other

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
