Job Summary
The Project Engineer (Geotechnical) will coordinate site activities, ensure technical compliance, and support project delivery from planning through execution across multiple geotechnical projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring geotechnical works to ensure timely and compliant project progress
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth project workflows
- Prepare detailed technical reports, method statements, and documentation to secure project approvals and maintain records
- Conduct site inspections and supervise geotechnical activities to enforce safety standards and quality control
- Support instrumentation monitoring by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data to inform engineering decisions
- Manage project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and track deliverables to meet project milestones
- Develop and implement engineering solutions to address site challenges and optimize construction processes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or construction projects (fresh graduates may apply)
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and construction processes
- Proficient communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks independently
- Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and project documentation requirements
