Full Stack Mobile Developer

Responsibilities:

Mobile Application Development:

Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform or native mobile applications. Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile interfaces. Implement new features and improve existing application functionality. Ensure applications work effectively across different devices and screen sizes. Debug and resolve mobile application issues and performance problems. Integrate third-party services, SDKs, APIs, maps, payment systems, notifications, and other required services.\ Conduct application testing and quality assurance before deployment.

Backend Development:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support mobile applications. Build secure and scalable server-side applications. Develop and manage RESTful APIs and other API architectures where required. Implement authentication, authorization, user management, and access controls. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Troubleshoot backend errors and improve application performance.

Database Management:

Design and manage application databases. Create and optimize database queries. Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient data retrieval. Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases where appropriate. Implement appropriate backup and data-management practices.

Deployment & Maintenance:

Deploy mobile applications and backend services to relevant environments. Assist with publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Monitor application performance and resolve production issues. Manage application updates, bug fixes, and feature releases. Work with cloud hosting, servers, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools where required.

Collaboration

Work closely with the Web Development, IT, GIS, Operations, and other teams to deliver technical solutions. Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into functional applications. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. Document technical processes, APIs, systems, and application features. Provide technical input during project planning and development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience developing mobile applications and backend systems. Experience with at least one mobile development framework such as Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift. Strong knowledge of backend development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or similar. Experience working with REST APIs and third-party API integrations. Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar. Experience with Git and version control systems. Understanding of authentication, authorization, security, and data protection. Familiarity with cloud platforms and application deployment. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage development tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Experience deploying applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Experience with Firebase or similar backend/mobile services. Knowledge of push notifications and mobile analytics. Experience with payment gateway integrations. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Docker and cloud infrastructure. Experience working with location-based services, GPS, maps, or geospatial applications is an advantage. Experience working with GIS, surveying, drones, or other technology-driven solutions is an added advantage.
