Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based at Genesis Specialist Hospital in Ikeja. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating hospital vehicles, including trucks where applicable, to transport medical supplies, equipment, and documents between hospital units and external locations. Daily tasks include vehicle inspection, routine maintenance checks, keeping accurate logs of trips and deliveries, and ensuring adherence to all traffic and safety regulations. The Driver will support hospital operations by responding promptly to transport requests, assisting with loading and unloading items, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of vehicles. The role also involves courteous interaction with staff, patients, and external partners as needed, while following hospital policies and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Truck Driving and safe operation of hospital or commercial vehicles, including trucks where required. Valid driving license, with a clean driving record. Strong Communication skills for clear interaction with hospital staff, patients, and external partners. Customer Service skills to provide respectful, supportive, and professional service during all transport activities. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks, and familiarity with local routes in and around Ikeja. Ability to follow instructions, adhere to hospital policies, and maintain punctuality and reliability. Previous experience as a professional driver in healthcare, logistics, or related fields is an advantage. Ability to read and complete transport logs and documentation.
