Job Description:

At General Dynamics European Land Systems - Bridge Systems, based in Kaiserslautern, we produce bridge systems and amphibious vehicles for the military and civilian sectors.

Purchasing Clerk (m/f/d)

Your tasks in our company:

Initiation of procurement processes

• Comparison of requirements regarding prices and delivery options

Support in negotiations

• Support in the negotiation of call-offs or framework agreements regarding quantities, prices, delivery conditions, and deadlines
• To prepare larger closings, determine and compile requirement, contract, and supplier data and provide support during negotiations

Order processing

• Recording of orders and order confirmations in SAP
• Permanent monitoring of deadlines for all ongoing orders
• Systematically record changes to deadlines and quantities, create order changes, and coordinate with suppliers
• Invoice control in case of conditions deviating from the order

Defect notifications

• Completed commercial training
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Professional experience in the described areas
• Good IT skills (SAP, MS Office)
• Good English skills
