About the company
As a Front Office Employee Citizen Affairs at gemeente Berg en Dal, you are the first point of contact for residents. Whether it concerns a new passport, a driver's license, or an extract: you help residents kindly and ensure that their applications are handled correctly. Even during busy moments, you maintain an overview and take the time to help people properly.
Your tasks
- You process applications for travel documents and driver's licenses.
- You provide extracts from the Basisregistratie Personen (BRP) and the civil registry.
- You process applications for a verklaring omtrent het gedrag (VOG), if you have experience with this.
- You accurately register personal data in iBurgerzaken and process the associated administration.
- You collaborate with the back office on applications that require extra control or processing.
- You identify opportunities for improvement and think along about how service to residents can be even better.
Requirements
You are someone who loves helping people and ensures that every resident feels heard. You listen attentively, explain matters clearly, and remain friendly, even when it is busy. Thanks to your accurate way of working and service-oriented attitude, residents can rely on you.

- Mbo-4 work and thinking level.
- A driver's license.

The job interviews will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, between 09:00 and 11:00 or between 12:00 and 14:00.
Other
You work 24 to 32 hours per week and start on December 1, 2026, or January 1, 2027. The assignment runs until August 31, 2027, at the latest. Preferably, you work on Tuesday and Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 08:30 to 13:00. The remaining working days and times will be determined in consultation.
You work at the town hall at Dorpsplein 1 in Groesbeek and possibly one day per week at the service point in Millingen aan de Rijn.
