Mobile Developer - Flutter

Hi! 👋 We are a growing IT organization related to the financial industry💰 We build trading applications using real-time data – both web and mobile. We develop mobile in Flutter/Dart, frontend in Angular 22, the backend is based on microservices created in various technologies, and the infrastructure runs on AWS with CI/CD in GitHub Actions. We are looking for a Mobile Developer for our team who feels comfortable with Flutter, can independently lead features from graphic design to release, and wants to grow with an application where real-time data, performance, and stability are of particular importance. What will your work look like? Flutter will definitely be the most important part of this role: ~80% of the time – mobile: Flutter/Dart, iOS and Android, ~10% of the time – web: Angular 22+ / TypeScript – we do not require prior knowledge, you can learn it with us, ~10% of the time – backend and infrastructure: mainly smaller tasks in Node.js and AWS. We are not looking for someone who knows our entire stack today. The most important thing for us is solid experience in Flutter/Dart and the desire to gradually move beyond just the mobile area.

Daily tasks

• Developing and maintaining the mobile application in Flutter/Dart on iOS and Android,
• Developing state management based on solutions such as BLoC, Riverpod, Provider or similar,
• Co-creating and developing the application architecture and making technical decisions within the implemented areas.
• Working with real-time data, WebSockets, and data streams,
• Implementing interfaces based on graphic designs, taking into account good UX and iOS and Android guidelines,
• Integrating the application with REST API and WebSocket,
• Working with native integrations, including push notifications, biometrics, deep links, or platform channels,
• Preparing builds and publishing applications in App Store and Google Play,
• Writing unit and widget tests,
• Independently implementing features – from graphic design through implementation and testing to publication,
• Optimizing rendering and application performance with high data update frequency,
• Participating in code review,
• Monitoring application stability, analyzing crashes, and performance profiling,
• Supporting the development of the web application in Angular/TypeScript (from time to time),
• Performing smaller backend tasks in Node.js (from time to time),
• Collaborating on the development of other microservices in C#/.NET (from time to time),
• Supporting deployment and CI/CD processes in AWS and GitHub Actions (from time to time).

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with Flutter/Dart. Very good knowledge of Dart and the Flutter ecosystem, including widgets, application lifecycle, navigation, asynchronicity, and Streams. Practical experience with at least one state management solution, e.g., BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider. Experience with REST API and WebSocket integration. Experience in publishing and maintaining applications in App Store and Google Play. Basic knowledge of native aspects of iOS and Android – Xcode/Swift and Gradle/Kotlin – in the scope needed when working with Flutter. Experience in writing unit tests and widget tests. Knowledge of Git and working with pull requests and code review. English at a level that allows free use of technical documentation and communication within the team (B2). Independence in solving problems, responsibility for your part of the product, and teamwork skills. Nice to have Experience with real-time applications, especially those handling high data change frequency, e.g., quotes or charts. Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript. Experience with CI/CD for mobile applications, e.g., GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or Codemagic. Experience with chart libraries in Flutter, e.g., fl_chart, Syncfusion, or with chart integration via WebView or native solutions. Basic knowledge of Node.js. Experience with AWS, e.g., S3, CloudFront, Lambda, or API Gateway. Experience with Firebase, in particular Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, or Analytics. Experience in the fintech or trading industry.
