At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Head of Electrical Design and Software Development (m/f/d) for our headquarters in Asbach-Bäumenheim.

Your main tasks include:

• Holistic planning, coordination, and realization of hardware and software projects - on schedule as well as in compliance with budget and quality targets for series and variant machines
• Central contact and interface role between mechanical design, production planning, service, and manufacturing
• Development of new solution approaches and definition of hardware/software standards in close cooperation with the team
• Further development and optimization of structures and processes as well as management of capacity in the operational design environment
• Continuous analysis of technological developments and trends with a view to machines, technologies, and process landscapes

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Electrical Engineering/Automation or a comparable qualification
• Strong teamwork skills as well as a structured and analytical way of working
• Experience in the area of personnel management and capacity planning
• Experience and knowledge in standard-compliant control cabinet construction and in creating circuit diagrams (EPLAN or similar)
• Knowledge in the area of standards, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., UL/CSA, DIN EN ISO 12100 and 13849)
• Good English and IT skills
