Operations Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Our client, a recognized player in the aeronautics sector, is looking for an Operations Manager to lead all activities of a strategic sector and support its development.

Reporting to the Management, you will take charge of managing operational teams and ensure the global steering of your scope, covering human, technical, financial, and commercial aspects. As a true guarantor of operational performance, you will ensure customer satisfaction, activity profitability, and the development of services.

Your main missions:

• Manage, support, and develop the skills of the operational managers placed under your responsibility.
• Organize human and material resources to guarantee the proper delivery of services in compliance with quality, cost, and deadline requirements.
• Ensure the economic steering of your activity: budget preparation and monitoring, analysis of performance indicators, and optimization of financial results.
• Develop and retain the client portfolio while contributing to the evolution of the volume and nature of services.
• Guarantee customer satisfaction by ensuring the processing of non-conformities, complaints, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in responses to calls for tenders by providing your technical and financial expertise, in collaboration with the relevant departments.
• Manage subcontracting activities: drafting specifications, contractual, financial, quality, and performance monitoring.
• Supervise the administrative follow-up of services (delivery notes, orders, work in progress). Collaborate closely with support functions (Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Quality) to ensure the fluidity of operations.
• Contribute to HR processes: recruitment, skills development, career management, and talent identification.
• Ensure regular reporting to Management on project progress, performance, and any potential bottlenecks.

Profile Description:

You hold a higher education degree and have significant experience in managing industrial activities in an aeronautical environment.

You possess solid experience in managing operational teams as well as in production management. Your mastery of performance indicators, budget management, and economic steering allows you to effectively support the performance of your scope.

Proficiency in English is indispensable, as is a good ease with IT tools and activity management systems.
