To the Chemical Plant in Uppsala, we are searching for a candidate to lead production planning and material supply in our unit providing products to the biopharmaceutical industry globally.

Essential Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for all production planning, distribution planning and procurement of all direct material. Recognized as a professional expert, leads a team and a complex function. Products are world leading in its field and produced in highly specialized process environment.

  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
  • Optimize inventory and process improvements
  • Lead weekly PSI/SOP process to evaluate capacity, material availability, inventory estimates and customer fulfillment
  • Has authority in the network of experts and in project teams
  • Responsible for developing long term strategy to drive continued improvement of inventory, turns and fulfillment
  • Support/coordinate together with sourcing efforts to reduce material cost and lead time reduction strategies, roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Provide input influence decisions within own discipline and area.
  • Communicate recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations
  • Involved in complex decision making with internal and external parties.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Extensive experience in Materials Planning and Execution.

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Master Degree
  • APICS Certification
  • Oracle knowledge and experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English
