Position Summary

You'll craft espresso drinks, matcha, specialty and viral beverages, and brunch cocktails while delivering warm, attentive and effcient service. Our current baristas are true experts in their craft, so you'll learn from the best and bring your own skills to the bar. We're hiring full-time and part-time Baristas with open and flexible availability.

What You'll Do

• Pull consistent espresso shots and craft espresso beverages, teas, and our viral and specialty drinks with speed and precision
• Pour clean, consistent latte art on every drink, no exceptions
• Prepare and serve matcha to a high standard, with attention to quality, preparation, and consistency
• Craft cocktails and other beverages for brunch service
• Share your coffee knowledge with guests
• Deliver friendly, engaging customer service and make every guest feel welcome
• Operate the POS, take orders accurately, and handle cash and card transactions
• Keep pace during brunch and peak rushes without compromising quality
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and follow all health and food safety standards
• Work as one team with fellow baristas, the kitchen, and servers, communicating, supporting each other, and keeping service smooth and positive

Your Experience and Skills

• Previous barista, café, or restaurant bar experience (1 year preferred) in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong coffee knowledge, including espresso fundamentals, extraction, and milk texturing
• Ability to consistently create latte art, no exceptions
• Understanding of matcha quality, grades, and proper preparation
• Cocktail or bar experience is an asset (we'll train the right person)
• A genuine passion for true café culture and a drive to keep learning
• A strong team player who communicates well and supports others during rushes
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Comfortable being on your feet and moving quickly throughout your shift
• Strong time management and the ability to multitask under pressure
• Food Handler certification an asset
• Smart Serve certification required for cocktail service (or willingness to obtain before starting)
• Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
