Assistant IT Support Engineer

This position is responsible for ensuring the stability and continuous operation of the company's IT infrastructure, providing efficient technical support to users, and assisting with the daily maintenance of mid-level servers and storage systems. A. End-User and Desktop Support 1 PC Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of individual personal computers (PCs) and endpoints (including Linux/Mac). 2 First-Tier Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact (Tier 1) for all user-reported IT issues and inquiries. 3 Printer Management: Manage and maintain all network and local printing devices. 4 A/V Support: Administer and maintain audio-visual (A/V) equipment in conference rooms. 5 Software Distribution: Manage automated software deployment and patch/update processes.

B. Infrastructure and System Management 1 Server/Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain mid-level hardware, including servers, NAS storage devices, and tape drives. 2 IT Room Monitoring: Monitor and manage the physical environment and equipment within the IT machine room (Server Room). 3 Backup Operations: Monitor and manage daily data backup procedures and systems. 4 Desktop Virtualization: Provide basic administration and support for the Desktop Virtualization (VDI) infrastructure.

C. Administration and Compliance 1 Asset Procurement: Handle the procurement, purchasing, and acceptance testing of new IT equipment. 2 Documentation: Create and update IT documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical guides. 3 Security Incident Response: Assist in handling and resolving basic information security (infosec) issues and incidents. 4 System Health Checks: Conduct regular equipment status checks and report on potential hardware/software issues.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science 1 year of experience in IT. Understanding of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, and x86 hardware. Proficiency in English will be an advantage (Speaking & Writing), Chinese is a plus. Can Work in night shift
