Graduate Trainee

Responsibilities:

Support daily reconciliation of operational, settlement, and wallet accounts under supervision. Assist in monitoring liquidity and cash positions, and in preparing cash flow reports. Learn and support treasury operations, including fund transfers, payment processing, and settlements. Help investigate reconciliation discrepancies and document findings for review. Support preparation of periodic treasury, liquidity, and reconciliation reports. Assist with maintaining accurate accounting records and general ledger entries. Support month-end and half-year closing activities as directed. Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements at all times. Undertake other duties and rotational assignments as assigned during the training programme.

Requirement:

Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 0–1 year of relevant experience; NYSC corps members and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with close attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills. High learning agility, integrity, and willingness to work within a structured, fast-paced fintech environment. Professional certification in progress (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage but not required.
