Data Mining Intern

Your tasks

This internship provides hands-on experience in B2B data mining, lead generation, prospect research, business development and social media marketing using professional tools and platforms.

Our current primary focus is a new campaign for Aperture Ventures, our startup initiative. Interns will support this campaign by identifying relevant companies and decision-makers, building targeted prospect databases for business-development activities, and assisting with social media marketing efforts to support outreach and brand visibility.

• Conduct data mining and extraction from various sources to build and maintain high-quality email databases
• Conduct additional online research when required to identify and validate prospects.
• Organize and submit mined data according to the team's required format.
• Assist with social media marketing tasks, including content support, posting, and engagement activities to promote campaign initiatives.
• Follow campaign-specific instructions and maintain accuracy and consistency in all assigned work.
• Clean, validate, and organize datasheet to ensure accuracy and usability
• Communicate questions or issues to the Team Lead/Manager when clarification is needed.
• Meet assigned productivity and quality targets.

Current Campaign – Aperture Ventures The current assignment focuses on supporting the Aperture Ventures campaign.

Interns will gain practical experience in researching target markets, identifying potential businesses, help building prospect databases, supporting B2B business-development activities, and contributing to social media marketing efforts tied to the campaign.

Tools Used Interns May Work With Apollo – Prospecting, contact research, filtering, and data mining Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel – Data organization and submission Google Search / Web Research – Additional prospect and company research Social Media Platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, X) – Content support and marketing activities

Requirements

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive interns to join our Data Mining Team.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field
• Basic knowledge of data mining, or database management
• Familiarity with applications such as Excel, Google Sheets
• Interest in or basic familiarity with social media marketing and email marketing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
