Senior Tunnel Engineer

Purpose of Job / Job Summary Coordinate day to day site activities with Tunnel Engineers & crew, while supporting Deputy & Tunnel Manager in planning and execution of tunneling activities. Key Responsibilities/Duties . Manage site technical matters and resolve construction issues using sound engineering principles. Plan work, manpower and resources to meet project schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, surveyors, tunnel operations and consultants. Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Tunnel Manager / Deputy Tunnel Manager. Ensure construction works comply with QSHE requirements and approved procedures. Prepare site reports, method statements, material submissions, drawings and permit-to-work documents Liaise with Design & Technical teams and relevant authorities for drawings, permits and approvals. Attend progress meetings and prepare minutes.

Qualifications: Minimum degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in the relevant field, and at least 5 years of experience in managing tunneling works of similar scale, complexity and nature of work. Specific skills/abilities: Microsoft Office fluent, CAD fluent, team player, compressed air fit Personal qualities: Active, driven, problem solver
