Are you a system administrator who thinks that automation is the key to success and that redundant and tedious operations must be eliminated? OR Are you a developer passionate about the infrastructure components that run and support your applications? If so, then this position is made for you! As a DevOps specialist within Gameloft's cloud infrastructure department, you will be responsible for improving and developing several systems and tools allowing for the management and monitoring of the cloud infrastructure used by several services. Main responsibilities: Implementing new infrastructure via IaC Deploying updates Providing Level-3 technical support Designing tools to reduce the number of errors and improve user experience Performing root-cause analysis for production errors Analyzing and resolving technical issues Developing automation scripts (IaC) Developing procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance of systems Creating and maintaining documentation related to the solutions and tools provided Suggesting improvements regarding the security, performance and growth of existing environments Intervening in daily operations (possibility of working on call later) *** Are you a system administrator who believes that automation is the key to success and to eliminating recurrent and heavy operational tasks? As a DevOps specialist with Gameloft's Cloud Infrastructure department, you will be responsible for improving and developing multiple systems and tools to manage and monitor the cloud infrastructure that is used by several departments.
Main Responsibilities Implementing new infrastructure via IaC Deploying updates Providing Level-3 technical support Building tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and to improve user experience Performing root-cause analysis for production errors Investigating and resolving technical issues Developing scripts for automation (IaC) Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Creating and maintaining documentation related to the tools and solutions provided Suggesting enhancements regarding the security, performance and growth of existing environments Supporting day-to-day operations (possibility of being on call later on)
At least 10 years of experience as a developer or system administrator in a Linux environment At least 7 years of experience with Jenkins and Git At least 5 years of experience with external cloud providers (knowledge of AWS, GCP and Azure are assets) At least 5 years of experience with configuration management tools (for example: Ansible, Puppet, Progress Chef) Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) Excellent understanding of networking and infrastructure configuration in a public cloud environment Experience working with service-oriented architecture: API and SDK Experience with several types of databases (for example: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis) Autonomy and ability to learn new technologies quickly Ability to work on several projects and tasks at the same time while managing priorities and meeting delivery deadlines Good communication skills and ability/willingness to work with colleagues belonging to other teams or working in other studios Fluent English; French is a definite asset
