Admin Assistant - Boon Lay
Contract Period: From 1 Dec 2026 to 31 Dec 2028
Working hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1/2-hour lunch break.
- Fridays: 8:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1/2-hour lunch break.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of services:
Reception Duties:
- Greet and assist walk-in visitors, students, and parents in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle general enquiries at the front counter and direct individuals to appropriate personnel or departments.
Phone and Communication Handling:
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Take and relay accurate messages, transfer calls, and respond to basic enquiries.
First Aid Support:
- Provide first aid and health support to unwell or injured students.
- Maintain sickbay records.
- Maintain records of medical supplies and put in request for the purchase of the supplies accordingly.
- Notify parents/guardians in the event of illness or injury and arrange student pick up as necessary.
Administrative Support:
- Perform general office support duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying, registering of delivered items to school and mail distribution.
- Assist in the recording of students’ late coming, early releases and students in sickbay.
- Perform occasion chaperon duties for students to events outside of school, including accompaniment of injured students to hospital.
- Any other ad-hoc administrative support required by the school.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Personnel shall possess a minimum qualification of GCE N Level.
- The Personnel should preferably be able to use Microsoft Office applications and collaborative tools in Google.
- The Personnel should preferably have 3 years' working experience as a front desk receptionist or administrative role.
- The Personnel should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The Personnel should have the ability to multitask, work independently, and in a team.
- The Personnel should have a calm disposition, a positive attitude to learn, and be able to administer basic first aid to students.
