Group Accountant/ Regional Finance Manager

G-Energy Group is a growing energy and sustainability consultancy with operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and China .

As our regional business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Group Accountant / Regional Finance Manager to strengthen our group finance function and support the financial governance of our businesses across Asia.

This is a hands-on regional role for someone who enjoys working across group accounting, intercompany transactions, management reporting, corporate secretarial matters and regional finance operations.

What You Will Do

Group Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage and oversee accounting activities across the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements and group reporting.
• Ensure accounting records comply with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant local statutory requirements.
• Support year-end audits, tax matters and statutory reporting.
• Work closely with country finance teams and external accountants/auditors across the region.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to management to support business decisions.

Intercompany& Regional Finance

• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and balances across Singapore and overseas entities.
• Establish and maintain appropriate intercompany charging and recharge mechanisms.
• Handle management service fee charges and cross-border cost allocations.
• Ensure intercompany transactions are properly documented, recorded and reconciled.
• Work with external tax/accounting advisors on transfer pricing and related-party transaction matters where required.
• Monitor and resolve intercompany discrepancies across entities.

Corporate & Governance Matters

• Manage company statutory matters, board resolutions, annual returns and corporate filings.
• Maintain proper corporate records for the Group's entities.
• Support incorporation, restructuring, changes in directors/shareholders and other corporate actions when required.
• Assist management in ensuring good financial governance and internal controls across the Group.

Business& Management Support

• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and analysis for senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and regional finance processes.
• Participate in regional projects, acquisitions, new entity setup or business expansion initiatives when required.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• > 8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably with regional or group accounting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards / SFRS.
• Hands-on experience in intercompany accounting, reconciliations and cross-company charging.
• Experience dealing with external auditors, tax advisors and corporate secretarial firms.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts.
• Good Excel and accounting system skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple entities and stakeholders across different countries.

Highly Preferred

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CFA.
• Experience in a regional group and consolidation
• Experience with management service fee arrangements, cost allocation and intercompany recharge.
• Exposure to transfer pricing and related-party transactions.
• Experience supporting corporate restructuring, entity setup or regional expansion.
• Familiarity with accounting requirements in Singapore and other Southeast Asian markets.
