The Position

Reporting to the Finance Department, you will intervene on all matters related to general accounting and taxation for several entities within the group.

As a true technical expert, you will be able to analyze complex issues, provide constructive critical insight, and actively contribute to transformation and optimization projects for the Finance function.

Main Responsibilities

General Accounting

  • Supervise general accounting activities within your scope.
  • Guarantee the quality, reliability, and compliance of accounting operations.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Ensure the preparation of financial statements and audit work.
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors and internal partners.

Taxation

  • Manage all recurring tax obligations of the company.
  • Supervise the preparation of tax returns and the tax package (liasse fiscale).
  • Ensure the monitoring of various taxes and duties (CVAE, local taxes, and other tax obligations).
  • Conduct active monitoring of regulatory and tax developments.
  • Support projects related to new regulations, particularly the digitalization of invoicing.

Group Environment and Projects

  • Participate in the analysis and processing of complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Contribute to cross-functional topics related to intercompany flows, service recharges, or other group issues.
  • Support transformation, continuous improvement, and optimization projects for Finance processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the group in an international environment.

Management

  • Supervise, support, and develop the skills of an accounting team.
  • Organize the workload, monitor priorities, and guarantee the quality of deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative and demanding work environment.

Profile Sought

  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in general accounting and taxation.
  • Successful managerial experience with the direct supervision of at least 3 employees.
  • Career path primarily completed within companies, ideally within large group environments.
  • Experience acquired in structured organizations representing a turnover of at least €500M.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent mastery of general accounting.
  • Solid knowledge of corporate taxation.
  • Mastery of tax returns, the tax package, and major taxes and duties.
  • Good understanding of regulatory and tax challenges.
  • Exposure to group tax issues and intercompany flows is an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP is appreciated, but not a prerequisite. Experience with a structuring ERP is expected.

  • Fluent professional English is essential.
