Technical Writer (m/f/d) Spare Parts Documentation

Location: München Employment type(s): Full-time

Tasks:

• Creation and maintenance of spare parts documentation according to ASD S2000M including the associated data sets
• Production and revision of technical illustrations for spare parts catalogs
• Analysis and evaluation of drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturer documents for information gathering
• Review and processing of change requests as well as implementation of documentation changes
• Ensuring the quality of documentation and data sets
• Coordination and alignment of documentation projects with internal departments, customers, and external service providers

Requirements:

• Completed studies in Technical Writing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Alternatively, technical training (e.g., Kfz-Mechatroniker, Kfz-Techniker, Fahrzeugtechnik-Meister, or comparable) with experience in Technical Documentation or spare parts management
• Strong technical understanding
• Professional experience in the field of Technical Documentation as well as in handling editorial systems and the ASD S2000M standard (B007 is an advantage)
• Knowledge in the creation of spare parts catalogs, ideally with MatConf, as well as in the creation of technical illustrations, e.g., with IsoDraw or Corel Designer
• Experience in the Automotive or defense technology environment is an advantage
• Basic knowledge in handling 3D-CAD data is desirable
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
