Local Buyer (m/w/d)

Location: München Employment type(s): Full-time

Tasks

• Independent examination and processing of requirements
• Initiation and control of tenders as well as creation of inquiries and orders
• Execution of national and international procurement market and demand analyses
• Research, selection, and qualification of suitable suppliers as well as building strategic supplier relationships
• Preparation, execution, and follow-up of supplier negotiations
• Coordination with project purchasing and interdisciplinary teams
• Creation and examination of offer matrices and technical content
• Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials
• Development of strategic procurement goals in coordination with the supervisor
• Independent negotiation management within the framework of defined guidelines

Requirements

• Completed degree in technical, business administration, or legal studies or comparable commercial qualification with several years of purchasing experience
• Strong technical affinity and good product knowledge
• Good knowledge of contract law and a strong legal mindset
• Very good SAP and MS-Office skills
• Fluent English skills, other foreign languages an advantage
• Confident appearance, negotiation and assertiveness skills
• High resilience and independent way of working
