- Be the form class teacher and also the Chinese teacher in the centre
- Facilitate activities and provide care to a group of students before and after school hours ensuring safety and security protocols are met at all times
- Provide guidance and supervise the completion of homework assignments from school or in house prepared materials
- Execute daily activities in accordance to timetable
- Implement creative ideas, activities, and stimulating lessons and encourage students’ participation in classroom activities.
- Conduct recreational activities to nurture and develop students holistically
- Set appropriate classroom rules
- Ensure that the classroom has an environment that is clean and conducive to work in at all times
- Students are to be supervised at all times
- To adhere to the routine and rules of the centre
- To ensure the safety and security of the students
- To be familiar with a student's medical conditions and dietary restrictions, etc.
- To adhere to the specific guidelines given by the Centre Manager as well as the roles assigned by the Centre Manager
- To work as a team and share the collective responsibilities
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the classrooms
- work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- And other duties assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as a student care center teacher or a primary school teacher * Able to supervise Chinese homework, prepare customised Chinese xingtie worksheet, use AI-learning platform to revise Chinese with students from P1 to P6.
- At least a A Level, Diploma
- GCE ‘O’ Level (3 credit passed including a pass in English & Chinese)
- Keen passion to mentor, guide and engage children with dedication
- Friendly and cheerful with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with a “can-do” attitude
- Bubbly and cheerful personality
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
