Warehouse Assistant Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

To lead and supervise a team of CPPLeaders and CPP Inspectors to carry out inspections of incoming materials inaccordance to approved procedures and specifications. To ensure that all incoming materialsmeet the all required specifications as well as all regulatory requirements.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• To plan CPP manpower activities and work schedule so as to ensure that the CPP department isoperating at optimal efficiency.
• To ensure CPP Leaders andinspectors are adequately trained to be able to perform their duties.
• To review and investigatenon-conforming materials detected during inspections.
• Liaise with Operations Manager and QPD on matters related to non-conforming materials.
• Measure results, worktowards achieving departmental goals and objectives.

JOB CONTENT:

To plan and oversee the daily operation and activities of CPP department. Prepare and update all daily quality reports, scorecards and any other required status reports. Ensure all QA procedures and programs are implemented correctly. Monitor and enforce safe andcorrect work practices. Ensure all CPP are trained tooperate equipment/tools safely and correctly. Ensure that CPP leaders/inspectors comply with all required safety and operational procedures when operating equipment/tools. Periodic review with all staff on CPP matters such as safety, performance, procedure updates. Monitor and update status for all incoming materials through database and so that the Operations Manager and other operations staff have clear and updated information on the status of all the incoming materials in CPP. To review, investigate,recommend disposition for all non-conform materials detected. Ensure all licenses/operating certificates for software/equipment valid. Ensure all operating equipment are in good operating condition and have valid calibration status. Ensure proper handing and taking over to the incoming shift supervisor. Define and maintain allrequired SOP’s required for CPP. Define and maintained alloperating procedures and work instructions for the various equipment/tools used. Liaise with external partiesfor the equipment/tools ‘maintenance, repair and calibration. Ensure proper inspection data and other quality records are kept inaccordance with company SOP.

RECOMMENDED CREDENTIALS:

EXPERIENCES

• At least 2 or more years of working experience.
• Preferably worked under IDEA-STD-1010 environmental
