Vehicle Fitter

Location : Dungannon, County Tyrone Salary : DOE Duration: Permanent Hours : 7am- 4.20pm Mon to Thurs, 7am to 12.30 Fri The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hydraulic Fitter to join our growing production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and commissioning a range of ground support equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with strong hydraulic knowledge and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and build a range of ground support equipment using mechanical and hydraulic engineering principles. * Conduct testing, setup, and commissioning of hydraulic systems, including pressure and flow testing. * Work closely with the design and product development teams to implement product improvements and support continuous innovation. * Achieve production targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards. * Safely handle and move components and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute positively to team performance. * Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and site regulations. * Adhere to ISO 9001 quality management standards and company health and safety requirements. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. * Carry out any additional duties as required to support business operations. Person Specification

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or in a similar hydraulic assembly role. * Experience installing and fitting hydraulic systems on vehicles, machinery, or equipment. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. * Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components. * Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, and associated equipment. * Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Good literacy and numeracy skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Flexible and adaptable approach to work. * Good communication skills with the ability to effectively report issues and collaborate with colleagues. * Commitment to producing high-quality work and following established quality standards.
