About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst to join a leading banking organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing software testing activities while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Lead software testing activities throughout the SDLC and Agile lifecycle.
- Identify, prioritize, track, and manage software defects through resolution.
- Design and implement automated testing solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate requirements.
- Manage and administer Atlassian Jira Defect Tracking System.
- Mentor junior QA team members and support testing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years of Software Testing / QA experience.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domain.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with Jira Administration.
- Experience in Test Automation using Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent Testing Certification.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of Digital Banking systems and processes.
