Our Montreal, Toronto, and Bogota studios are serviced by FOLKS VFX, who joined FuseFX in 2020. The Adelaide, Australia studio is serviced by Rising Sun Pictures, who joined FuseFX in 2021.
Your tasks
FuseFX has an opening in Vancouver! We have opportunities at our studio for an experienced and talented Unreal Engine Artist with a background in television and/or feature film VFX.
Working heavily in Unreal Engine, this role would focus primarily on their artistic skills, with generalist knowledge of modeling, materials, and lighting within the program. Additional knowledge of animation and cameras within Unreal Engine is beneficial.
Requirements
Ideal Unreal Engine Artist candidates Unreal Engine Artist with 3+ years of Unreal Engine production experience
Experience with photoreal modeling, materials and lighting in Unreal Engine
Experience with sequencer, animation and cameras in Unreal Engine
Skills required
- A background in real time for Virtual Production / Game / VFX / Interactive / VR development
- A definitive technical vision
- A demonstrable track-record as an Unreal Engine Artist.
- Understanding of the entire 3D rendering pipeline
- Have shipped a VR project

- Able to think creatively and resolve technical challenges and limitations.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both on a technical and creative basis.
- Artistically as well as technically inclined.
