*Position Overview*

Fundy Tactical is the leading tactical gear provider to the first responder community in Eastern Canada. We provide purpose-built gear for the most demanding missions.

We are currently seeking a full time, in-house seamstress to complete quality uniform alterations.

*Requirements:*

• Background in tailoring/ garment alterations

• Ability to work efficiently and complete projects in a timely manner

• Knowledge of various sewing machines, including industrial machines

• Ability to follow instruction and communicate potential issues with a project

• Knowledge of measuring and fitting clients for custom pieces an asset

*Main responsibilities:*

• Sewing various types of braiding down the length of pant leg (police)

• Sewing hi-vis and 3M striping around pant leg (paramedic)

• Sewing crests, shoulder flashes, and velcro on shirts and jackets

• Sewing epaulettes on shirts and jackets

• Pant hemming

*Schedule:*

• Regular schedule. Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm.

Any applicants chosen for an interview will need to produce sample(s) of their work to

demonstrate their skillset.

Please note: this will be a high-volume position. Experience, time management, and prioritizing projects is a necessity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
