Manufacturing Manager - Fab Shop

Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the production of semi-trailers. Their main objective is to ensure that production is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.

What requirements must you meet?:

• Industrial Eng., Mechanical Eng., or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semi-trailer production or a related industry.
• Experience handling MIG/MAG welding equipment in carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Management of unionized personnel and various shifts English and advanced Microsoft Office

What must you know/be familiar with?:

• Knowledge of CNC laser cutting technologies via fiber optics or CO2 resonators
• Knowledge of design software: RADAN, CADCAM, METACAM, CAD, CYPCUT, SOLID AND AUTOCAD
• Mastery of 2, 3, and 4-axis sheet metal bending machines in different tonnages
• High knowledge of tooling for cutting and bending
• NOM-020-SCT, MPS, ERP, CRM, knowledge of the DOT, Interpretation of blueprints and tolerances. Interpretation of regulations such as the ASME code

Your responsibilities would be:

Plan and schedule production, supervise and control the production and manufacturing process, identify improvement opportunities, inventory control in the manufacturing lines, cost reduction in the manufacturing line, complying with all quality standards and ensuring that no accidents occur.
